About YouMicro
YouMicro is the audio
sharing community on the Internet, where everyone is able to upload
audio files (both music and any other kind of audios) and share them
in streaming to be listened whenever and wherever you want.
The idea was born in 2007 and first version was launched in a Beta phase during 2008. After two versions more, in 2011 Beta mode finished.
The main star in YouMicro is the audio,

The site doesn´t create the content, but the users as a wiki site,

We just want the people
to share and listen audio files also to be rated, commented, voted in
contests, shared in social networks, included in digital albums and
so on, being always just the audio file the star of the whole web
YouMicro has been divided
into two parts of audio files, one related to music, with all kind of
music categories, and the other related to any other kind of audios
like radio shows, audioblogs, audiobooks, humour, historical recordings,
tales, storytelling, and more.
The site also has been
made to satisfy the following kind of users:
- - those users who want to upload their audio files and share them with the world in order to get the feedback of each audio. In this case you should be registered as user in YouMicro.
- - those ones who want to listen any audio file in streaming, share it, or include in playlists to listen continuously. Registered users will be able also to save playlists, rate audio files, comment, vote for them in contests, follow the activity of interesting users being a fan, and much more
- - Finally, people who want to show their ads, the site offers three possibilities:
- + Sponsor any user in YouMicro, and make your user name and image, and ad text to be shown in every audio file of the sponsored user played by anyone
- + Create an audio contest with your image as sponsor, and make users add their audios to the contest for participating and be voted to win
- + Include your banners in the website, upload audio ads for free to share them …
We just want to be the internet audio database currently updated by all users and let you find any audio file to listen and enjoy it easily.
